1-Week Locum Opportunity in FHO/FHT Group Practice

A FHO/FHT group practice is looking for a locum to support the practice September 21-25, 2026. The ideal locum will be able to support the practice for up to 8 half days over the week, while candidates with partial availability are also encouraged to apply.

This is an organized, well-equipped group practice located in downtown Hamilton just steps away from St. Joseph’s Hospital. Part of the Core Care Family Health Organization, this 22 physician FHO is also part of the larger 165+ physician Hamilton Family Health Team.

This practice group receives extensive support from a psychiatrist as well as numerous Allied Health Professionals including Nurses (3 RNs & 1 RPN), a dietitian, two mental health counselors, and a clinical pharmacist. The practice is fully electronic and utilizes Pomelo’s Health Myself for patient bookings/secure messaging, Ocean eReferral for referrals, and TELUS PS Suite EMR for patient records. A team of four office staff and a Practice Manager also provide full administrative support for bookings, billings, and referrals.

The location provides a total of nine exam rooms that are shared by the group plus additional rooms for Allied Health Professionals, 2 Nursing stations, and a private office for the locum. The practice is also located in a healthcare setting alongside a pharmacy and x-ray/ultrasound clinic.
