Remuneration is on a fee-for-service basis and is competitive with other North American jurisdictions. A clinical stipend is also available through the Acute Care Coverage department.

Alternative Payment Arrangement — May be eligible for Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) remuneration: Recruitment Incentive $10,000 (pro-rated for part-time); Relocation costs reimbursement up to $15,000; Fee Premium 4.20% (Retention/Retention Premium noted at 4.2%); Annual Flat Fee $6,508.80; Rural CME funding (starting at $2,200/yr in years 3–4 to a maximum of $4,400/yr after 4 years).
