Job Description
Cardiac Surgical Assistant Opportunity
Southlake Health is seeking a Cardiac Surgical Assistant to support a high-performing team of 5 Cardiac Surgeons, working 2–3 days per week. You will join a collaborative group that includes both physicians and Registered Nurse First Assistants (RNFAs).
Position Highlights:
- Assist with elective and on-call cardiac surgeries
- Provide inpatient surgical coverage
- Work in a dynamic, high-volume Regional Cardiac Centre
- Approx. 1,000 open heart surgeries performed annually
- Remuneration through fee-for-service (OHIP) plus Ministry of Health on-call funding

Qualifications:
- Royal College certified
