10-Month Part-Time LTC Rounds Opportunity in Hamilton, Ontario

A family physician is looking for a maternity leave locum to provide coverage for approximately 70 residents across two long-term care facilities in Hamilton, from May 1, 2026, until January 31, 2027.
The successful candidate can expect to spend 6-7 hours per week between the two sites for rounds, with no after hours work required. On call expectations are for daytime weekday hours only, as there are not any overnight or weekend call requirements. Overnight and weekend call coverage is provided by the family physician’s FHO group. The physician currently does rounds on Mondays, but there is flexibility as to which day of the week the locum goes in for rounds.
The candidate can expect a very competitive weekly stipend.
