Contribute to a wraparound, trauma-informed approach that integrates medical, legal, social, and mental health services under one roof.

At CYAC, you’ll be part of a collaborative environment dedicated to reducing trauma and promoting healing. Our team works together to ensure every child and family receives the care and advocacy they deserve.

Adherence to CPSBC practice standards and ethical guidelines, including mandatory reporting under the Child, Family and Community Service Act when a child is believed to need protection.

Clinical Competencies:

Ability to provide comprehensive, trauma-informed care to children and youth (ages 0–19) who have experienced sexual abuse, physical abuse, neglect, or emotional abuse.
Commitment to addressing Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and mitigating health inequities in vulnerable populations through screening, early intervention, and culturally safe practices.

Collaboration:

Willingness to work within a multidisciplinary team that includes pediatricians, nurses, social workers, law enforcement, mental health counselors, and school liaisons to deliver wraparound care.

Additional Expectations:

Maintain ongoing professional development in trauma-informed care, cultural safety, and child maltreatment best practices.
Demonstrate strong communication skills and advocacy for child health and well-being.
