3-Month Locum Opportunity in a FHO/FHT/Group Practice

A family physician who part of a FHO/FHT group practice, located in Central Hamilton, is looking for a locum to support her practice, starting the week of July 6, 2026. The ideal candidate will support the practice 3 days/week (Monday, Wednesday & Friday), July-September 2026.

With a roster of approximately 1,700 patients, the locum can expect to see 16-18 patients per day during practice hours of 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.

In addition to working alongside 3 FHO colleagues, the practice also receives on-site support from a Physician Assistant, Psychiatrist, Clinical Pharmacist, Medical Office Assistant, Registered Dietitian, and 2 Mental Health Counsellors. The practice also receives administrative/office support from 5 experienced staff who handle reception duties and who provide support with forms, prescriptions, and billings.

The practice uses Telus Practice Solutions EMR as well as Health Myself Patient Portal, Pomelo Health, and Ocean eReferral, to ensure seamless patient engagement, appointment bookings, and referrals.

The locum can expect to receive a daily stipend for their work.
