NBRHC is seeking locum anaesthesiologists to provide procedural deep sedation to its busy endoscopy suite, averaging 12-14 cases per day / per room assignment.
Locums are required for three days (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) each week of assignment
Qualifications:
Qualified applicants will posses:
- Licensure to practice anaesthesia independently in Ontario
- A standing anaesthesiology fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

North Bay Regional Health Centre (NBRHC) is a unique health care organization with three primary roles: providing acute care services to North Bay and its surrounding communities, functioning as the district referral center providing specialist services for smaller communities in the area, and it is the specialized mental health service provider serving all of northeast Ontario. NBRHC is a 433 bed hospital with acute care services including a 24/7 emergency department, 8 theatre OR, 13 bed PACU, endoscopy suite, ophthalmology suite, labour & delivery suite and a 16 bed CCU.

Remuneration:
Locums will be remunerated with a combination of OHIP billings fee for service (or clinical sessionals). Our locums are HealthForce Ontario NSLP funded (urgent coverage) which includes a daily honorarium $363, travel sessionals, as well as travel and accommodation expense reimbursement in line with NSLP guidelines.
