They will be expected to participate in Clinical Care and there may be an opportunity to participate in the Acute Care Surgery Service. They will be expected to have good interpersonal and collaborative skills with initiative to further advance the clinical productivity of the Cardiac Surgery Program, including local and regional educational and quality initiatives. Research productivity and a plan for developing a research program are considered an asset.

Applicants must be certified (or eligible for certification) by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Cardiac Surgery and have completed fellowship training in Cardiac Surgery, with preference given to accredited fellowships. The candidate must be eligible for licensure in the Province of Ontario.
