The Department of Surgery, Division of General Surgery at SHN is seeking a full-time Colorectal Surgeon. The successful candidate will be working with a strong, supportive and collegial group of colleagues in a three-site community hospital organization committed to providing high quality, comprehensive clinical services. As SHN is affiliated with the University of Toronto, the successful candidate will be expected to apply for an appointment with the University of Toronto Department of Surgery and be involved with teaching at SHN.

Candidates will be expected to be certified or eligible for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in General Surgery (Colorectal Surgery preferred) or the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. Emphasis will be placed on candidate(s) with experience working in a community hospital setting with strong communication skills.
