This position is a COMMUNITY position and is NOT part of Alberta Health Services.

Job Description:
Provides comprehensive, patient-centered primary care to individuals and families across all ages. The role includes diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, delivering preventive care, and promoting overall health and wellness. Physicians work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, coordinate care with specialists and community services, and ensure continuity of care. Requires a medical degree, family medicine certification, and licensure, along with strong clinical, communication, and patient-focused skills.
Qualifications:
Have a current eligibility letter from CPSA
Medical degree (MD or equivalent)
Certification in Family Medicine (CFPC or equivalent)
Licensure (or eligibility) with the appropriate regulatory body (CPSA)
Valid professional liability coverage (CMPA)
Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
Commitment to patient-centered, culturally safe care
Ability to work effectively in team-based, community settings

Assets: experience in rural/underserved areas, additional scope (e.g., emergency, obstetrics), and multilingual abilities.
