This position is a COMMUNITY position and is NOT part of Alberta Health Services.

Job Description:
Our Clinic is the Medical Hub and also at the junction of communities namely Legacy, Walden, Chaparral, Pine Creek, . The combine population size is 50,000 resident approx. with an additional area of approximately 10,000 individuals reachable within a one-hour commute. Our Clinic is a medical Hub provide all medical facility under one roof, Physician, Specialist (on call), Blood work collection, ECG / EKG, Holter, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy and dentist. Our practice reflects the diverse demographics of our catchment area, catering to both urban and rural populations. Notably, 65% of our patients fall between the age of 18 - 64, while 10%-15% of our patients are aged 65 and above, approx. 20% - 25% are under the age of 18. Furthermore, we are dedicated to maternal health, providing prenatal care up to 28 weeks gestation and postnatal care following delivery. It's worth noting that all practitioners within our clinic, including those who have departed (for whom sponsorship has been sought to fill their positions), uphold current Health Quality Council of Alberta practice panel reports, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of healthcare delivery, updated within the last 18 months.
Qualifications:
- Approval from CPSA and board certification - Have a current eligibility letter from CPSA
- MD degree from an accredited medical school Valid medical license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment
