Looking for a locum for my shared practice in Burk’s Falls, ON (about 25 min north of Huntsville, which is in Muskoka - so about 2.5 hours from GTA). Clinic of 5 friendly and supportive MDs, and FHT including 2 NPs, 4 nurses, mental health/social work, dietitian.

Accuro EMR. Lab next door and X-ray on site several days per week. The practice has about 750 patients, and most appointments are booked for 30 min at a time, so the pace is very manageable with time to chart and work on inbox. Clinic hours are M-Thursday 9-12 and 1-4, 9-12 Friday. Paid charting time Friday afternoon. No ER or inpatient requirements. 

This is an RFLMP locum. Travel time is paid with a stipend if you are coming from more than 2 hours away. The contract also covers mileage and pays $120/day stipend toward accommodations, or more if nothing in that price range is available. Base pay works out to approximately $1080/day plus shadow billings (~10%) and 100% third party billings. 

It is a beautiful area with lots to do! In Spring: hiking, kayaking/canoeing, festivals. In summer - swimming, fishing, beaches, concerts.
