Blanche River Health is seeking ED physicians to help cover shifts at our Kirkland Lake site throughout the month of September.

BEDS: 41 medical/surgical beds including 4 ICU beds and 2 step-down beds

ED: 24-hour emergency department - average of 35 patients in a 24hr census

SERVICES: general surgery, anesthesia, visiting specialists, diagnostic imaging with CT scanner, laboratory services, physiotherapy, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy services (including on-site chemotherapy mixing), satellite oncology clinic (via OTN through HSN), mental health and palliative and discharge care services.

SHIFTS: 5h, 10h, 14h (nights) 24hrs.

REMUNERATION: Dayshift: $268/hr + 10% shadow billing // $220/hr + 10% shadow billing.

TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATION: Clean, private, fully-furnished units within 5 minutes of the hospital. Travel and accommodations reimbursed through NSLP.

 Getting Here Is Easy:

• The Drive: Located 580 km north of Toronto straight up Highway 11.
• The Flight: Fly into Timmins (YTS) and grab a rental car - it's a scenic, traffic-free 1.5-hour drive straight to the hospital. (Or fly into North Bay for a beautiful 2.5-to-3-hour drive north).
