Blanche River Health is urgently seeking physicians to help cover vacant shifts in our ED!
ALL SHIFTS ARE INCENTIVIZED! Dayshift: $318/hr + 10% shadow billing
September 28 | 1300-1800
September 29 | 0800-1300
The weather is still beautiful in September - these 5 hour shifts mean you have more time to enjoy the Town of Kirkland Lake's trails, tennis courts, golf course, gym, indoor pool and so much more!
About us
Our Kirkland Lake location includes 41 medical/surgical beds including 4 ICU beds and 2 step-down beds. We operate a 24-hour emergency department (35 patients in a 24-hour census) and offer services including general surgery, anesthesia, visiting specialists, diagnostic imaging with CT scanner, laboratory services, physiotherapy, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy services (including on-site chemotherapy mixing). We also have a satellite oncology clinic (via OTN through HSN), as well as mental health and palliative and discharge care services.
Getting here is easy
The Drive: Located 580 km north of Toronto straight up Highway 11.
The Flight: Fly into Timmins (YTS) and grab a rental car - it's a scenic, traffic-free 1.5-hour drive straight to the hospital. (Or fly into North Bay for a beautiful 2.5-to-3-hour drive north).

Travel and accommodations are reimbursed through NSLP. Blanche River Health offers clean, private, fully-furnished units within 5 minutes of the hospital. No traffic!
