The Bone Research and Education Center in Oakville is seeking a part-time physician (will consider locum applications as well) to join our highly specialized team. Our center provides comprehensive care for patients with a broad spectrum of metabolic bone diseases, including osteoporosis, parathyroid disorders, and rare conditions such as X-linked hypophosphatemia (XLH) and hypophosphatasia. Affiliated with McMaster University, we offer teaching opportunities for those interested in academic medicine, as well as ample opportunities to participate in clinical research through our center. While research involvement is not a requirement, physicians who wish to engage in scholarly activity will find strong institutional support. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated interest in metabolic bone disease and must hold active licensure to practice in Ontario. Our clinic uses Accuro EMR to support efficient and patient-centered care.
