It will also consist of 248 half days of Ambulatory service/Other Patient Care including procedure days (5 hours each) with or without trainees. The position will include GI clinics, both on site and virtual, Medical Day Unit visits, Fellows clinics, scheduled clinical encounters outside of the physician’s usual clinic time, endoscopic procedures in the GI lab and OR, ambulatory care, and physician telephone referrals/advice.

The Section of Pediatric Gastroenterology is comprised of 11 specialists and is based at the state-of-the-art Alberta Children’s Hospital. The Department of Pediatrics has over 500 clinical and academic faculty members who are part of the Cumming School of Medicine at the University of Calgary.
