There is an attractive opportunity for a full service family physician who will provide clinic care, in-hospital care, ER and obstetrical care, to work with a dynamic family medicine group with a reputation of providing excellent, evidence based, patient-focused care. ER coverage on a rotational basis is required.

The Melfort Hospital is a 31 bed facility providing the areas’ residents with all manners of health care services. Primary acute care and some non-primary acute care services are provided from the Hospital and include Medicine, Obstetrics, Surgery, Outreach, Chemotherapy, High Acuity Unit and Emergency. A wide variety of professional staff is available including a Diabetic Nurse Educator, Mental Health Workers, a General Surgeon, etc. Visiting Consultants and Allied Health Services hold clinics within the facility and Visiting Specialists provide on-site surgery.

We are pleased to provide a recruitment and relocation incentive of $15,000.00 for 3 years of return for service to new Physicians to reside in Melfort.

Must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan (CPSS)and have current Canadian Medical Protective Association coverage. A valid Saskatchewan driver's license is also required.
