Verismo Health Inc. is seeking a skilled and dedicated Family Physician to join our team in Goderich. In a fully furnished, well-equipped environment, you will have the resources you need to provide exceptional family medicine care to patients of all ages in Goderich and the surrounding Huron County community on the shores of Lake Huron.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic conditions.
• Perform thorough patient assessments, including history-taking and physical examinations.
• Deliver preventive care, health screening, counselling, and immunizations.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory work and imaging studies.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment and care plans for patients across the lifespan.
• Manage patients with multiple comorbidities, coordinating care and referrals across specialties as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
• Collaborate with the clinic's medical, nursing, and administrative staff to ensure efficient, patient-centred care.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Valid medical license in the province of Ontario (CPSO).
• Certification in Family Medicine (CCFP or equivalent).
• Excellent clinical judgment and diagnostic skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
