St Mary Rideau Family Clinic is seeking two Family Physicians to join our established, physician-owned and physician-led clinic in the heart of downtown Ottawa.

The successful physicians will provide comprehensive primary care based on their preferred practice style, with opportunities to develop a longitudinal patient panel, provide episodic/walk-in care, and offer appropriate uninsured and third-party medical services.

Physicians will have considerable flexibility in structuring their schedules. Options include early morning to midday, midday to evening, traditional full days, and weekend clinics. The clinic can accommodate schedules Monday through Sunday based on physician preference and patient demand.

The clinic provides fully equipped examination rooms, experienced administrative support, OSCAR Pro EMR, established booking infrastructure, and support with building and managing a patient panel. The clinic owner is a practising family physician and works on-site alongside the other physicians.

Our location at 158 Rideau Street is in the heart of downtown Ottawa, close to the University of Ottawa, ByWard Market, Rideau Centre, major residential developments and downtown businesses. The clinic serves a large and diverse patient population, including families, students, professionals, newcomers and immigrant communities.

Compensation: Physician retains 78% of billings. Clinic overhead is 22% + applicable HST.

There may also be an opportunity for interested and eligible physicians to participate with existing physicians in the development of a Family Health Group (FHG), subject to Ministry of Health requirements and approval.

Internationally trained and out-of-province physicians who are eligible or progressing toward eligibility for Ontario practice are encouraged to apply. C10 LMIA-exempt work permit support may be available for eligible international candidates. Physicians currently practising in Quebec who are considering a transition to Ontario are also welcome, and bilingual English/French physicians are particularly encouraged to apply.

Applicants must hold or be eligible for appropriate CPSO registration, be eligible to bill OHIP, and maintain appropriate CMPA protection.
