Guelph General Hospital is seeking a skilled Family Physician with Obstetrical Skills to join our outstanding team in beautiful Guelph, Ontario. As a key member of our medical team, you will collaborate with a dedicated group of experienced physicians to provide exceptional care to our community.

Our services include 24-hour emergency coverage, advanced technology and diagnostic support, and a variety of specialty programs. GGH is the Regional provider for general vascular surgery and a designated Provincial Centre of Excellence for Bariatric Surgery.

Family Physician Opportunities
Guelph General Hospital (GGH) is recruiting for two Family Physicians with Obstetrical Skills to join our growing group of Family Physicians with Obstetrical Skill (FP-OB) working on our Family Birthing Unit.
GGH has approximately 1,700 deliveries a year on our integrated antepartum/L&D/postpartum unit with an adjacent level 2a nursery. The FP-OB group is supported in practicing the fullness of their scope by an amazing group of OBs and Paediatricians. Remuneration is fee for service with an on-call stipend.
Our Family Physicians with Obstetrical Skill group provides prenatal care and attendance at deliveries in a group clinic/hard call model. They support the smooth running of the FBU through the provision of C-Section assists as well as participation in the group providing care to well newborns.
The Guelph Family Health Team is willing to support and work with candidates interested in exploring community practice opportunities. Both permanent members of the group or long-term (i.e. minimum 3 month) locums are welcome.
