Gastroenterologist Job Opening at Guelph General Hospital

Guelph General Hospital is seeking a skilled RCPSC-certified Gastroenterologist to join our outstanding and growing team in beautiful Guelph, Ontario. As a key member of our medical team, you will collaborate with a dedicated group of four experienced Gastroenterologists to provide exceptional care to the city and surrounding community.

Position Highlights:

Join a well-established, collegial team of four Gastroenterologists (one set to retire in May 2024)

Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills are essential

Proficiency in ERCP essential with therapeutic endoscopy fellowship preferred

Consultant-based service with GI-specific call requirements

Opportunity for shared office space

Even distribution of endoscopy time among all Gastroenterology members

 Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality patient care in the field of Gastroenterology

Perform endoscopic procedures with precision and accuracy

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Engage in ongoing professional development, research, and education

Contribute to the continual improvement of quality and safety initiatives at GGH

Maintain strong working relationships with patients, families, and team members

Qualifications:

Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons Certification in Gastroenterology

Current licensure to practice medicine in Ontario

Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills

A commitment to providing exceptional patient care and support to the Guelph community
