Family Physicians wanted to join Highlands FHO in Dufferin County

The Highlands Family Health Organization is looking for full time Family Physicians to join our FHO and either start a practice in Orangeville, or join an established clinic in Orangeville or Shelburne. Shelburne has a RIO score of 40 so is eligible for income stabilization in a rural communithy and the NRRR grant.  The Highlands FHO is a multi-site group of 18 physicians spread between Orangeville, Grand Valley and Shelburne, which operates PS Suite EMR from a centralized server.  We are affiliated with the Dufferin Area Family Health Team, giving a new physicians' patients access to a myriad of health care services.  Our community hospital (Headwaters Health Care Centre) has a wide range of specialists as well as optional opportunities for family physicians - including emergency medicine, low-risk obstetrics, pediatrics, complex continuing care, hospitalist, surgical assist, and palliative care.

Dufferin County is located 1 hour north west of Toronto and 30-40 minutes north and northwest of Brampton.  We have access to the amenities of these centres as well as many culinary and recreational attractions locally.  Customize your practice to your desires and enjoy the high quality of life that our area provides!
