In partnership with the Alberta Medical Association, AHS helps facilitate the retention benefit program for physicians. This program is used to encourage retention by giving physicians a financial incentive if they billed more than $80,000 in clinical income the previous calendar year and are still working as of January 1 of the current calendar year. Alberta Medical Association's Continuing Medical Education (CME) program reimburses physicians for expenses incurred during education sessions through an agreement between the Alberta Medical Association and Alberta Health. The annual allotment of $2,562.50 carries forward for three years.

Job Description

Join our Family Practice & Walk-In Clinic at Doctors on Albion.

Full Patient Panel, October or November start.

Located in Etobicoke, we are a well established, physician owned clinic.

Expect to see 30 patients on average, per day, to start. These numbers will grow as you build your practice.

We are located in a busy retail plaza and have very high patient traffic.

We offer a competitive overhead split and provide a well managed practice with excellent support staff.

Enrolment & Billing Model: FHG (option to accept roster transfer)

EMR: Avaros

Pharmacy and Cardiologist Practice on site.

Spacious exam rooms.

Great team environment.

This is a full time, long term position which requires day time and evening hours. Specific weekly hours are flexible based on your preference.

Start date is flexible, through preference will be given to a physician who is able to start within the next 1 - 2 months.

A C10 work permit is available to eligible international candidates.
