We are an established Family Health Organization with 12 family physicians. We have an opportunity for a part-time maternity FHO locum effective mid-May 2026 for 7 months, or up to one year, based on your availability.

Interested candidates may start as a part-time locum with an opportunity to build your own practice as FHO physician later.

Palliative care:  Our community palliative care program is rated gold standard by McMaster.  Physicians are supported on home visits by our Advanced Care Practice Nurse.

Teaching:  We are an accredited teaching site for McMaster University

Emerg and/or OR assists could be available through William Osler.

Our 12 physicians are focused on fostering a positive work environment, collegial team-based culture, and a healthy work/life balance.  We have a well managed and fully supported office, including both administrative and nursing staff. We also access allied health staff with the Central Brampton Family Health Team. We are in Northeast Brampton which is easily accessible.  The parking on-site is free.

We use Telus CHR, since November 2022, having been on EMR since 2005.  You can build your own schedule as we offer flexibility with both days and hours.  One evening shift is required.  On-call and after hours over the weekend is shared amongst 12 physicians.

Compensation model is under review in light of changing Ministry FHO+ model.
