- Prescribe and manage a variety of therapeutic interventions which may include medications, exercise programs, injections (e.g., trigger point, joint, spinal), electrodiagnostic testing, and the prescription of orthotic/prosthetic devices and assistive equipment (e.g., wheelchairs, walkers).
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes, focusing on the "whole person" and their physical, emotional, social, and vocational well-being.
- Educate and counsel patients and their families on rehabilitation strategies, self-management techniques, and lifestyle modifications to facilitate maximum independence and adaptation to lifestyle changes.
- Participate in case discussions, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and best practices.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
