Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Physician with a focus on Obstetrics to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build their own practice and, if desired, join the Family Health Organization (FHO).

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive obstetrical care, including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum services.
• Participate in a hard/soft call blend system, assisting with c-sections or covering for colleagues during their absence.
• Manage your own deliveries with the option to sign out if preferred.
• Share on-call duties, with the call schedule becoming 1 in 7 upon adding a new team member.
• Weekend on-call coverage is for 48 hours.

Compensation:

• Weeknight on-call pay: $250
• Weekend on-call pay: $500 per night.
• Additional opportunity to participate in the baby rota, earning $200 per day.

Qualifications:

• Certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) with a special interest or additional training in Obstetrics.
• Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
