The average gross income of an Emergency Medicine Physician in Alberta is $341,349. Compensation for this opportunity is based on a fee for-service model and may include additional program stipends.

Fee-for-Service; May be eligible for Rural Subsidy Agreement (RSA): Recruitment Incentive up to $10,000; Relocation reimbursement up to $15,000; Fee Premium 4.62%; Annual Flat Fee $7,159.68; Rural CME $2,200/annum in years 3–4, increasing to a maximum of $4,400 after 4 years (amounts current as of Aug 2024).

Alternative Payment Arrangement: Longitudinal Family Practice Payment Model (alternative payment). Competitive, negotiable split based on working hours; inquire about signing bonus for long-term commitments.

Clinical Service Contract; competitive remuneration.
