Position

We are seeking qualified Gastroenterologists to join our outpatient endoscopy team. The ideal candidate brings strong procedural skills, a commitment to high‑quality patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced clinical environment. This role is well‑suited to physicians who prefer a procedural‑focused practice with minimal administrative burden.

Job Duties

• Perform endoscopic procedures in accordance with clinical guidelines and clinic protocols
• Conduct pre‑procedure assessments and provide post‑procedure care and instructions
• Interpret findings and complete accurate, timely procedure reports
• Collaborate with nursing and administrative teams to support efficient patient flow
• Maintain high standards of infection control, safety, and quality assurance
• Communicate effectively with referring physicians to support continuity of care
• Participate in clinic‑wide quality initiatives and ongoing professional development
• Support a respectful, patient‑centred environment aligned with clinic policies

Required Qualifications

• Medical Degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of 3 to 4 years of specialty residency training in gastroenterology
• Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada certification (or eligibility)
• Licensed or eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)

·      Proven experience in performing endoscopic procedures, including gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and related interventions

·      Demonstrated expertise in patient evaluation, procedural planning, and post‑procedure management

·      Strong knowledge of gastrointestinal disorders, clinical guidelines, and evidence‑based endoscopic techniques

• Strong commitment to patient safety, quality care, and professional ethics
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
