Enjoy a stimulating position in a supportive environment that fosters professional growth, clinical excellence, and options for academic involvement through our regional educational affiliations, including the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry.

Why Choose Diagnostic Imaging at WRH?

-      Integrated and Diverse Role: Enjoy a stimulating position that perfectly blends general diagnostic expertise with the opportunity to directly contribute to and expand specialized sub-specialty clinical services.

-      Collaborative Team Environment: Become a valued member of our cohesive, highly supportive radiology group, contributing collectively across core modalities including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, X-ray, and fluoroscopy services.

-      Comprehensive Interventional Radiology Practice: For interested candidates, utilize, and actively scale your clinical skills across a broad spectrum of IR procedures:

o   Vascular: Angiograms, angioplasty/stenting, embolization, and thrombectomy/thrombolysis.

o   Non-Vascular: Vertebroplasty, ablation, targeted pain management procedures, and more.

-      Academic Opportunities: Engage in meaningful academic involvement through our close formal affiliation with the esteemed Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, fostering continuous lifelong learning, clinical research, and local teaching possibilities.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

-      Accurately interpret and report diagnostic imaging studies across a comprehensive spectrum of modalities, including Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Ultrasound (US), X-ray, and Fluoroscopy.

-      Perform general-level image-guided clinical procedures and demonstrate competencies in essential clinical interventions.

-      Provide expert consultation to referring physicians, surgeons, and multi-disciplinary healthcare team members to ensure optimal, coordinated patient care.

-      Participate actively, equitably, and collegially in the general radiology on-call roster.

-      Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to the highest standards of clinical quality, operational efficiency, and patient-centered safety.

What you bring to Our Team:

-      Certification in Radiology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) is required, or eligible for certification; or hold equivalent US Board Certification / eligibility.

-      Eligibility for full, unrestricted licensure to practice medicine in the Province of Ontario with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).

-      Demonstrated proficiency as a General Radiologist with a broad skillset encompassing core modalities (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, X-ray, Fluoroscopy).

 -      Candidates possessing advanced Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology or Musculoskeletal (MSK) Radiology are strongly preferred.

-      Proven capability to work effectively within a cohesive group environment, combined with leadership ability and a self-starter mindset to help develop sub-specialty clinical practices.

If you meet these qualifications and are passionate about making a significant impact in the field of diagnostic imaging, we encourage you to submit your application.

Why Windsor-Essex?

The Windsor-Essex area is ecologically rich with extensive parkland along with a southwest location that extends warm weather activities such a golfing, gardening, and water sports. Windsor offers the unique opportunities of a larger metropolitan area and the benefits of a smaller community. Living directly across the border from Detroit, Michigan places you on a cosmopolitan stage where arts, culture, big league sports, and entertainment are just moments away. Best of all, you can enjoy access to all of these big-city advantages while living in the relative tranquility (and low costs) of a much smaller, friendlier community.
