Hospitalist 

Daily stipend of $1600, with opportunity to increase to $1800/ day with Surgical assist on call coverage.  (Surgical assist call typically light, 0-3 calls/ week)  

No required overnight call. Max patients 18 per day. ER physician covers new admissions until 0800 the next day and takes overnight calls for inpatients from 2300 to 0700. No admissionist duties.  Weeks are typically Tuesday through Monday.  

Travel/Accommodations provided through NSLP. 

Fort Frances has approximately 8,000 residents, with a catchment area of approximately 18,000.  Adjacent to Fort Frances is International Falls, MN, a community approximately same size as Fort Frances.  Easy access to international airports from International Falls.  Rental cars can be brought across the border.
