Job Description
The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance (HPHA) is recruiting a Full and/or Part Time Hospitalist to join the team! The position will commence in July 2026 and will include coverage primarily at Stratford General Hospital, in addition to other sites of the HPHA including Clinton Public, Seaforth Community, and St. Marys Memorial Hospitals.
- Physicians are scheduled for one week duration - Fri-Thurs.
- Three Hospitalist teams cover the service and include Internal Medicine and Family Medicine physicians.
- On Call is divided 1:3
- Physicians are paid a daily stipend of $1400 and receive a HOCC stipend for after hours coverage, in addition to FFS billing.
- Hospitalists are expected to provide medical care to ~15-20 patients during their week.
- Accommodation is available for the full week and/or on call days only, if preferred.
- New graduates are well supported! We've had several join out of residency and they are still here!
