The West Nipissing General Hospital (WNGH) is looking for locum Family Medicine physicians to join our team.
Hospitalist Coverage:
-Thursday, January 1 @ 8pm until Monday, January 5 @ 8am
-Thursday, January 8 @ 8pm until Monday January 12 @ 8am
-Monday, January 12 @ 8am until Monday, January 19 @ 8am (can be split into 4-day locums)
-Monday, January 26 @ 8am until Monday, February 2 @ 8am (can be split into 4-day locums)
-Monday, February 2 @ 8am until Monday, February 9 @ 8am (can be split into 4-day locums)
-Thursday, February 12 @ 8pm until Monday, February 16 @ 8am
-Thursday, February 26 @ 8pm until Monday, March 2 @ 8am
-Thursday, March 5 @ 8pm until Monday, March 9 @ 8am
-Monday, March 9 @ 8am until Monday, March 16 @ 8am (can be split into 4-day locums)
-Thursday, March 26 @ 8pm until Monday, March 30 @ 8am

You will have the support of:

Travel and accommodation expenses:
-daily $353.67 honorarium for every approved work and travel day
-accommodations and travel expenses through Health Force Ontario’s Northern Specialist Locum Program (NSLP).
Job Description:
-complete daily rounds on general medicine patients
-be available by phone from 0800-2200.
-be responsible for calls from the Long Term Care Department from 2000 until 0700 hours (infrequent).
Pay Structure:
ED Back-Up (optional for this assignment): You are the physician on call in the event that:
-the ED becomes overly busy
-the ED physician has to leave on a transfer with a critically ill patient
-hourly EDAFA pay for time spent working in the ED
-$500/24-hour
