Job Description
We are seeking Radiologists
Join a collegial and well-established diagnostic imaging team at Sault Area Hospital. Our group has a dynamic and busy practice encompassing a full range of diagnostic modalities and non-vascular interventional procedures.
Opportunities:
A unique opportunity to practice in a high-volume and equitable fee-for-service model with no graduated remuneration structure. The groups’ work encompasses 3 CT scanners, a 1.5T MRI, as well as a significant volume of ultrasound, radiography, mammography (OBSP and diagnostic) and fluoroscopy.
Engage in academia with an affiliation to NOSM University and mentor medical students and residents.
Embrace research opportunities, supported by the Sault Ste. Marie Academic Medical Association.
Not only is the practice dynamic, interesting and challenging, but the group is experienced, collegial and supportive as is the broader department and hospital.
You bring:
Interested candidates should be comfortable in working with all of the major diagnostic modalities (CT, MRI, US, X-Ray, mammography and fluoroscopy) and should also be comfortable doing or learning to do non-vascular interventional procedures including US and CT-guided biopsies and drainages, breast procedures (biopsies and localizations), as well as fluoroscopic injections.
Applicants are required to be certified in Radiology by the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada and independently licensed to practice in Ontario.
Fellowship training is not a pre-requisite, but a fellowship in women’s imaging would be of benefit to the group.
We are looking for individuals who possess the skills, work ethic and personal traits to successfully integrate into and expand our current group due to increasing work volumes.
We offer:
Low cost of living, excellent salary and so much more!
