About the Locum Opportunity

Tillsonburg Medical Centre is seeking two (2) locum family physician coverage for an established FHO practice with an existing patient roster, clinic infrastructure, and administrative support already in place. This opportunity is well suited for a physician looking for short-term or flexible coverage in a welcoming Southwestern Ontario community, with the option to explore a longer-term transition if there is mutual interest.

The goal is to make the locum experience simple and low-barrier: patients are already attached, workflows are established, and local support is available to help the physician begin smoothly.

Locum Coverage Details

·        Standard weekday hours with highly predictable scheduling (Minimum 3 days/week).

·        Future potential for one evening clinic (5:00 PM – 8:00 PM) per week.

·        Clinic-based family medicine is the core role; ED coverage can be discussed separately if interested.

·        Optional (not required) weekend walk-in clinic blocks are available if you wish to expand your scope.

·        Orientation, clinic workflow review, EMR support, and billing support are available.

Compensation Structure

Operating under a modernized FHO+ framework, you will receive direct Ministry of Health (MOH) payments (including hourly FHO+ direct/indirect care allocation plus shadow billing), plus a daily clinic stipend ($1,000 per day, maximum of 3 days per week).
