Job Description

I am looking for a locum for my established, well run Family Medicine practice of ~750 patients for 6 months while I am on maternity leave. Please see below information:

  • Located at 27 Roncesvalles (Queen and Roncesvalles) with free designated MD parking onsite
  • Part of the Metro West FHO
  • Telus PS suite EMR, Ocean for patient messaging / appointment reminders / referrals
  • I work with 2 lovely experienced and supportive Family MD colleagues and 2 great competent admins
  • Commitment of 5 half day clinics per week (ie clinics 9AM-noon or 1-4PM, every 15 mins for routine visits, 30 mins for well baby visits). Preference for Mon, Tues, Thurs - however could be flexible if needed
  • Practice of ~750 patients - Babies to elderly folks, lots of young families and healthy people
  • As part of the Metro West FHO, required to cover after hours clinic for our group of 28 MDs aprox once per month (5-8 PM) on TUESDAYS + 2 weekends per year (Friday 5-8 PM & Saturday 9-3 PM)
  • Rates: $550 per half day in clinic + 100$ per day for inbox coverage on non clinic business days + 75% of third party billings
