Join a growing Regional Psychiatry Team in Northeast British Columbia (currently two Psychiatrists in Dawson Creek and two in Fort St John). Dawson Creek Hospital has 15 regional adult psychiatric beds.

Work in a supportive private practice and mental health team - there is also an excellent working relationship with our local Primary Care Physicians.

Dawson Creek and District Hospital is a full service community hospital that provides service to Dawson Creek and surrounding communities. It has 15 regional adult psychiatric beds and 31 acute care beds. Services include:

Dawson Creek is known as "Mile Zero", where the world-famous Alaska Highway begins!

The city has a population of approximately 12,500, provides primary service to a population of 20,000 and helps serve the larger population of the Peace River Region, approximately 70,000.

The city offers shopping, services, restaurants, cafés, a health food store, art gallery, live theatre, and the state-of-the-art Ovintiv Centre that hosts major music concerts. Our indoor Farmer's Market is open every Saturday, year-round!
