Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre (TBRHSC) is a state of the art, 395 funded bed acute care facility that services the people of Thunder Bay and Northwestern Ontario, covering a region of 250,000 residents that are scattered over a geographical area the size of France. We are also known as the Regional Trauma Centre and Cancer Referral Centre for all of Northwestern Ontario. For more information please visit: http://www.tbh.net.
We are seeking a locum General Internist to provide inpatient coverage to our complex medical patients admitted to the Oncology Ward 1A.
Locum assignments are scheduled one week at a time, Monday through Friday for the hours of 08:00-17:00
Duties include admitting patients throughout the shift and participating in multi-disciplinary rounds.
Remuneration is a daily stipend of $1200.00 plus fee-for-service billings.
Travel and accommodations are supported through the Northern Specialist Locum Program (NSLP).
The candidate must have a certificate of registration to practice from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario and have fellowship in General Internal Medicine from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
