Paediatric Neurologist
Women’s and Children’s Health Program, Trillium Health Partners
We are recruiting for a Paediatric Neurologist.
Trillium Health Partners’ Women’s and Children’s Health Program is seeking a 0.2 FTE Paediatric Neurologist to join the Division of Children’s Health. Join us in shaping the future of healthcare by being an integral part of Ontario’s first Women’s and Children’s Hospital, which will have an impact on generational health in one of the nation’s most multicultural regions.
Paediatrics at THP: Trillium Health Partners (THP) serves over one million residents across Mississauga, Peel Region, and West Toronto and is home to Ontario’s largest community paediatrics program. The Children’s Health Division provides comprehensive child- and family-centred care across inpatient, outpatient, and subspecialty settings, including neurology and a broad range of paediatric specialty clinics. The successful candidate will join a collaborative clinical environment with opportunities to teach University of Toronto learners, contribute to quality and safety initiatives, and engage in applied research and innovation through the Institute for Better Health (IBH), THP’s research and innovation institute focused on improving care, advancing population health, and addressing community needs through data, evidence, and partnerships.
Paediatric Neurologist Role: The successful candidate will join the Division of Children’s Health and work alongside one other dedicated Paediatric Neurologist within a collaborative interprofessional team. The role includes one general neurology clinic per week and consultation support for children with a range of neurological conditions, including epilepsy, headaches, developmental delay, and movement disorders. Occasional inpatient consultation may also be required. EEG reading capabilities would be considered an asset.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate must be proficient in English, hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or approved equivalent, and be licensed in good standing in Ontario or eligible for a license to practice in Ontario, Canada. The applicant will be required to have a Royal College approved Fellowship in Paediatric Neurology (primarily through a pediatric neurology residency or subspecialty training in pediatrics followed by pediatric neurology). They will align fundamentally with the vision and philosophy of the Trillium Health Partners' Women's & Children’s Health Program. The successful MD candidate must have a strong command of the English language, both written and verbal. Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to an inter-professional care model is essential. The position is open to all qualified candidates; however, priority will be given to Canadian citizens and permanent residents of Canada.
Trillium Health Partners is an equal-opportunity employer committed to antiracism, diversity, equity, and inclusion. These principles are integrated into all operations, policies, and organizational culture.
Interested candidates are requested to reply with a covering letter, curriculum vitae, and the names of three (3) references by October 01, 2026 to:
