Description:

The successful applicant will join academic pediatric neurologists, developmental pediatricians, and pediatric physiatrists in providing a full spectrum of clinical services.

This position is a Part time Fee for Service equivalent. The position includes clinical commitment to Stollery Children's Hospital, Royal Alexandra Hospital and Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital. Training & certification in Nerve Conduction Study/Electromyography is required

Clinical Responsibilities include:

• Pediatric Neurology inpatient and outpatient clinical services, including but not limited to Inpatient consultation and follow up (General service, Neuro-Critical Care Service), General and subspecialty outpatient clinics, as well as the On Call schedule.

• Pediatric Neurology NCS/EMG training

Qualifications:

Interested applicants must have:
•    MD degree (or equivalent)
•    Completed subspecialty training in Pediatric Neurology
•    Must be certified or eligible to become a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. •    Must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA).
•    Pediatric Nerve Conduction Study/Electromyography (NCS/EMG) training and certification
