The Opportunity

This is an exceptional opportunity to practice full-scope Obstetrics and Gynecology in a supportive, rural community setting with access to modern resources and strong interdisciplinary collaboration.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

• Full access to outpatient clinic space and dedicated clinical staff
• A state-of-the-art operating room supporting gynecologic surgical procedures
• Participation in primary and consultative obstetrics care, gynecologic surgery, and emergency department consultation
• A well-established Prenatal and Ambulatory Clinic providing comprehensive outpatient services to patients throughout their pregnancy journey

Clinical Practice Environment

You will join a highly collaborative and experienced care team that includes:

• Family physicians (13) and GP anesthetists (3)
• General Surgeons (3)
• Huron County Midwives
• Nurse Practitioners
• Skilled nursing and allied health professionals

AMGH provides comprehensive obstetrical care across the full continuum—from antenatal and intrapartum care through to postpartum and newborn services—ensuring a broad and rewarding clinical practice.

Qualifications

• Royal College certification (or eligibility) in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Independent licensure (or eligibility) with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
• Commitment to rural medicine and collaborative care
