Job Description
Covenant Health invites applications for a position in Plastic Surgery based primarily at the
Banff Mineral Springs Hospital in Banff, Alberta. We are seeking a highly skilled Plastic Surgeon with experience working in or have fellowship training in Hand and Wrist reconstruction as well as Craniofacial Surgery to join our collaborative surgical team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive plastic surgery services with an added focus on hand/wrist as well as craniofacial conditions.
Required:
· MD or equivalent.
· Licensed or eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
· Fellowship training in Craniofacial Surgery
· Certification in Plastic Surgery with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
· Demonstrated strong surgical skills, clinical judgement and commitment to team-based care
· Demonstrated commitment to quality care, patient safety and DEI
· Understanding of Just Culture principles in healthcare.
Preferred:
· Experience in leadership, research or teaching.
· Experience working in a hospital environment.
