The Fort Frances Community Clinic hours are 8:30 am - 4:00 pm Monday to Friday.  Hours, patient volumes and schedule is at the discretion of the Locum Family Physician.  ER, located at La Verendrye Hospital, has approximately 18,000 visits per year.  Level 3 ED-AFA. $280/hr.

We have affiliation with Northern Ontario School of Medicine (NOSM).  Third year clerkship students (2-3) are in Fort Frances from September - April.  NOMP places Residents for 1-2 month rotations.  We also have Fort Frances Local Education Group (LEG) with NOAMA, Northern Ontario Academic Medicine Association.

Fort Frances has approximately 8,000 residents.  The FF Community Clinic, La Verendrye General Hospital and Riverside Health Care serve a catchment area of approximately 18,000.  Adjacent to Fort Frances is International Falls, MN, a community approximately same size as Fort Frances.  We have excellent access to international airports from either Fort Frances or International Falls.  Car rental available in USA, and allowed to be driven in Canada.
