The Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance (HPHA) is recruiting a full or part time psychiatrist to join the group of three and practice general adult inpatient and outpatient medicine at Stratford General Hospital.  For those wishing to develop an area of specialty,  we would be interested in discussing options further.

Stratford General Hospital, as part of the HPHA, is a secondary care centre and Schedule 1 mental health facility.  It is the regional referral centre for Huron and Perth County residents, offering a broad range of medical and surgical inpatient services.

FRCSC is preferred.  On Call Coverage would be 1:4.

Inpatient Mental Health, Stratford General Hospital

-Schedule 1 Mental Health Facility.

-15 dedicated adult inpatient beds.

-Call coverage shared amongst department.  Weekend call options available Fri 1700-Sun 1700 for those interested.

-Multidisciplinary team: Hospitalist, Nursing, Social Work, Occupational Therapist and Pharmacy.

Outpatient Mental Health, Special Services Unit, Stratford

-Group turnkey clinic; fully furnished. 

-Administrative and billing support provided. 

-No cost associated with overhead.  

-Conveniently located across the street from hospital.
