Our hospital has 20 Schedule I inpatient beds and is staffed by an experienced

multidisciplinary team. We are an active, full-service rural hospital staffed by family

physicians, specialists, and a wide range of visiting specialists.

• Experienced multidisciplinary staff, including nursing, social work, and psychology
• Very efficient unit with excellent clinical support
• Strong outpatient support, including clinics, day hospitals, groups, and individual treatment focusing on CBT, DBT, PSR
• Case Management; Crisis; ACTT

 As affiliates of the University of Western Ontario and Northern Ontario School of Medicine, successful applicants can pursue academic appointments and supervise psychiatry and family practice residents.

 Partnered with Gateway Centre of Excellence in Rural Health offers the medical team the opportunity to research relevant rural health issues.

 AMGH provides primary support for office space and secretarial assistance.

We support both a flexible work schedule and generous vacation time.

 Designated underserviced offers a candidate (for a 4-year return- of- service) excellent financial assistance to start a practice.
