Fee for Service (FFS)

Remuneration will be based on the Fee-for-Service (FFS) schedule. Remuneration can range between $300,000 to $800,000 per year depending on the number of shifts, patients seen, education & experiences. Total compensation for fee-for-service billings varies by individual practitioner, and the compensation shown reflects the average amounts for this specialty as reported by Alberta Health. Leadership Remuneration in accordance with AHS Leadership FTE/stipend principles and established structure.

Remuneration is in accordance with AHS contractor agreements.

Fee-for-service or alternative payment (negotiable); Rural Subsidiary Agreement incentives: Recruitment Incentive up to $10,000 (pro-rated), Relocation up to $15,000, Flat fee $6,508.80, Fee Premium 4.20%, CME $2,200/annum (years 3–4) and $4,400/annum (after 4 years).

Alternative Payment Arrangement; may be eligible for additional remuneration under the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including Retention Premium 6.09% and Retention Flat Fee $9,242

Fee-for-Service

Salary (remuneration commensurate with qualifications and experience)

Clinical Service Contract: fixed hourly rate; supplemented by Medical On-Call Availability Program (MOCAP) payments; shadow billing required.
