Come enjoy life on Georgian Bay, practising rural family medicine in beautiful Meaford, but with all the support of specialists 30 minutes down the road!

Dates are flexible:

Preferred time is July- Sept 2026, up to 11 weeks.

Schedule is typically 4 days a week (M/T/Th/Fr) from 8:30-3 but can vary to suit your needs.

Appointments are capped at 19 visits/ day.

No on call obligations, but you have the option of Hospitalist shifts (1wk) or ER shifts (6-12hr) in our rural Meaford Hospital.

This friendly practise of 1200 patients is located in a modern office with Accuro EMR and microphones set up for AI scribe. You will have your own dedicated Nurse (RPN) and Office Administrator to delegate a large variety of tasks to, and keep paperwork to a minimum. The patient population in Meaford is respectful and appreciative. A colleagial group of experienced physicians share this office space and are happy to provide guidance on challenging cases or local resoures.

Located on the shores of Georgian Bay, minutes from the Blue Mountains and a short drive to the Bruce Peninsula, this area is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts in all four seasons! Meaford and Thornbury have scores of shops, restaurants, and breweries to explore, with Collingwood, Barrie, & Owen Sound close by.

Stipend is ~$1250/ day. Base rate of $1200/ day + private billings for in person services (estimated $50/ day). OHIP shadow billing not included. A housing stipend of $120/ night is provided through the RFMLP.

Optional Hospitalist coverage is FFS (~$4000-5000/wk) with a $3000 top up/ wk, and ER shifts have a competitive hourly rate.
