Take Over an Established FHO/FHT Practice in Ancaster

A family physician with a solo FHO practice in the Ancaster Meadowlands is looking to retire and is seeking a successor to take over the care of her patients. As part the Hamilton Family Health Team and a large 24-physicain FHO this practice is well-supported and is in an excellent location just minutes away from the Lincoln Alexander Parkway and Hwy 403.

With ~1,600 rostered patients the practice currently sees approximately 30 patients per day. Current practice hours are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday (9am – 5pm) and Friday (9am – 3 pm). The practice provides on-call coverage to the FHO for 1 evening shift every 8 weeks and roughly 2 weekends per year.

As a member of the Hamilton Family Health Team, this practice is supported by an RN (3 days/week) and also receives off-site support from a dietitian and mental health counsellor. The practice is also supported by an experienced receptionist.

The current space offers a competitive lease (with option to renew) and comes equipped with 2 large exam rooms, a large private office, washrooms, a reception/waiting area, and free parking for staff. The practice also uses Telus PS Suite EMR for patient records and OCEAN for referrals.
