Take Over Established Roster in a 2-Member Group Practice (FHO) in Lynden

A member of a 2-physician FHO group practice in the village of Lynden is seeking a successor to take over the care for her patients. The successful candidate will take over a friendly and well-managed roster of approximately 900 patients, with the opportunity to grow the practice if desired, and will practice alongside a FHO colleague in the beautiful village of Lynden, Ontario which is located approximately 20 minutes from Dundas, Ancaster, and Brantford. The practice is perfect for physicians looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the City to care for a friendly roster of well-managed patients.

Current practice hours are Monday – Friday from 9am – 5pm with half-days on Wednesdays, during which the successful candidate can expect to see approximately 15-20 patients per day. As part of a large 24 member FHO the practice provides on-call coverage for the FHO approximately 1 weeknight evening per month and two weekends a year which involves 3 clinics (Friday Evening, Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 1 pm). The FHO has a well-staffed after-hours clinic across from Brantford General Hospital which take patients mostly by appointment with excellent triage.

The practice is supported by a nurse, an office manager (who handles billings) and a receptionist. Patient records are managed through Telus Practice Solutions EMR.
