Longitudinal Family Practice model; fee-for-service with billing split 80/20.

Fee-for-Service; eligible for Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) additional remuneration including a 24.5% retention premium and a $37,968 retention flat fee.

Combination; Option 1: 72.5% to $200k; 77.5% > $200k; 90% of LFP payments. Option 2: 73% to $200k; 80% to $400k; 85% to $500k; 90% > $500k.

Fee for service. The physician is responsible for purchasing health and insurance benefits. In partnership with the Alberta Medical Association, AHS helps facilitate the retention benefit program for physicians. This program is used to encourage retention by giving physicians a financial incentive if they billed more than $80,000 in clinical income the previous calendar year and are still working as of January 1 of the current calendar year. Alberta Medical Association's Continuing Medical Education (CME) program reimburses physicians for expenses incurred during education sessions through an agreement between the Alberta Medical Association and Alberta Health. The annual allotment of $2,562.50 carries forward for three years.
