Remuneration for this position is based on the Academic Medicine & Health Services Program (AMHSP). Salary will commensurate with education and experience and ranges based on a number of different factors and can range between $300,000 to $800,000 per year. Total compensation for AMHSP varies by individual practitioner, and the compensation shown reflects the average amounts for this specialty as reported by Alberta Health.

Independent fee-for-service; eligible for an on-call retainer through the Specialist Emergency Coverage Program; relocation package: $25,000 for new Ophthalmologists (three-year return of service).

Contracted payment. Salary range $507,807 – $579,394 (minimum $507,807.00; maximum $579,394.00). Competitive contract value plus an on-call stipend through the Specialist Emergency Coverage Program. Eligible for Pediatric Gastroenterology Recruitment and Retention Incentive up to $200,000 and a Priority Specialist Recruitment incentive of $30,000 (subject to eligibility and terms).

Contract position; base remuneration listed as $500,871.00; call remuneration paid separately through the Specialist Emergency Coverage Program (SECP); $25,000 relocation stipend for a 3-year commitment (non-repayable upon fulfillment); $30,000 Specialist Grant through the Saskatchewan Medical Association (SMA).

$500,872.00 (annual); Method of payment: Contract — regional agreement inclusive of 220 clinical days of service per year and on-call requirements.
